Dot Welder
A Dot Welder, also known as a dot welding machine, is a specialized type of resistance welding machine used to fuse small metal pellets onto a base metal surface. It's particularly useful for repairing molds, dies, and other surfaces where a smooth finish is required. Unlike traditional spot welding, dot welding doesn't require complex timing sequences or forging pressure.

How It Works:
- AC weld transformer: The use of a transformer to convert the single-phase electrical into a low-voltage, high-current output.
- Control panel: The machine utilizes a control for adjusting the welding current and welding time, allowing a fast and efficient welding.
- Localized Fusing: When the current and pressure is applied, it produces enough heat to melt the metal pellet and fuse it to the base metal.
Applications:
- Molds and Dies Repair: Precision localized welds on the damaged parts, without affecting the surrounding areas.
- Surface Repair: Dot welder is ideally used to repair the damaged surface on various precision metal parts like cylinder, pistons, restoring its original smooth finish.
- Filling imperfections before plating or grinding
