Flash Welding Machines

Resistance Flash Welding, is a resistance welding method that uses resistance heat and pressure to weld the ends of metal workpieces together. It is done by gradually bringing the workpieces closer together until local contact produces spark discharge. The generated resistance heat is used to heat the metal to a molten state. Then, an upsetting force is applied to fuse the two workpieces to form a weld joint. This welding method is commonly applied in the manufacturing of items like railway tracks, bicycle rims and some automotive parts
